Have you ever wondered what a surfer like Kelly Slater or Mick Fanning would do on Straddie waves. During the recent Australian leg of the Pro Tour many of the pros popped over to Straddie. Some like the Hobgoods used a jetski to practice their time in the air. Mick Fanning, Dean Morrison surf there regularly. One day on the beach lay a seemingly destroyed JS of Dean Morrisons. I stuck it back together and think it was the best board I had ever had - imagine what it was like new... It eventually succumbed to a angry day at Straddie and not in any heroic pig-dogging barrel, but just paddling out.
